Atlanta, GA (August 31, 2019) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, August 31, police responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on I-20 in Atlanta. Police confirmed that there were injuries as a result of the crash.
Dispatchers received the call around 2 p.m., where they immediately responded to the eastbound lanes of the interstate to assist the parties involved in this crash. Multiple vehicles had collided with one another.
Firefighters arrived at the scene of the accident where they found that two lanes of traffic had been blocked. Paramedics were called in to assist those with injuries after the vehicles involved were moved onto the median. The conditions of those involved have not been confirmed.
The investigation into the crash continues at this time.
