Dahlonega, GA (August 31, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Highway 52 in Dahlonega that led to injuries. The crash, according to police, took place close to the area of a restaurant.
The accident, according to police, took place when two vehicles collided with one another in the eastbound lanes of the highway. Police confirmed that there were massive delays in the area and lane closures.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident, where they assisted many parties who were injured and others who were just being checked out. The official amount of people with injuries and their conditions are not known.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is currently ongoing.
