Adairsville, GA (September 13, 2019) – Around 1 p.m. this afternoon, September 13, police responded to the scene of a serious motorcycle accident on Highway 140 in Adairsville.
According to authorities, the accident took place when a motorcycle and a motor vehicle collided for reasons that are not yet known in front of the Taco Bell on the highway.
The injuries to the rider of the motorcycle were severe and he was immediately flown to the hospital by medical helicopter. He had a broken leg, torn artery, and pelvic fractures among many other injuries and required emergency surgery.
At this time, police claim that the accident remains under investigation.
