Alapaha, GA – School Bus Accident on Highway 520 W

Alapaha, GA (September 10, 2019) – Around 8 a.m. this morning in Alapaha, a school bus accident involving a truck took place at Highway 520 W.

Police claim that, though there were minor injuries to the children, none of them were serious. Several of the children were taken to the hospital by their parents.

Police have also said that there were 17 children on the bus at the time. The bus was rear-ended by the semi-truck for reasons that are not yet known.

There were serious damages to the bus and police said that they were surprised that no children were badly injured in the wreck. At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
