Atlanta, GA (September 20, 2019) – Early this morning, emergency services responded to the scene of a scooter accident at an Atlanta intersection that led to injuries.
According to police, the accident took place at the intersection of West Peachtree Street and North Avenue in Atlanta.
When police arrived, they discovered that the rider of a scooter had been struck by a passenger vehicle driver. The scooter driver was seriously injured and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
All lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection, leading to delays in the area for quite some time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
