Austell, GA (September 19, 2019) – Early this morning, police responded to a car accident on the Riverside Parkway around the area where it connects with I-20.
The accident, according to police, took place in the eastbound lanes. There was a large police and emergency responder presence there this morning around 6 a.m. on the right lane of the highway. There were also reported delays in the area.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the accident but have said that it involved multiple parties. Tow trucks were seen in the area loading up vehicles that were severely damaged.
Paramedics helped those with injuries, though we do not know their conditions at this time. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
