Chickamauga, GA (September 3, 2019) – On Sunday, September 1 around noon, police responded to the scene of a serious crash that took place at a Chickamauga intersection.
The crash, according to police, took place at the intersection of Highway 27 and Wilder Road. Police are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the accident but have said that at least two vehicles collided due to what could have been right-of-way issues.
The accident led to the entrapment of one person who was taken to the hospital. It is possible that other parties could have been hospitalized as well. The injuries were serious and there is no update on the conditions of those involved at this time.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
