Columbus, GA (September 19, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a serious motorcycle accident at the intersection of 13th Avenue and Springer Street in Columbus.
The accident took place around 11:30 a.m. this morning when a motorcycle collided with a vehicle that was traveling south near Springer Street. The motorcycle rider laid down the bike as a result, which is when they were struck by another vehicle.
The motorcyclist was the only person transported to the hospital and they received what are suspected as serious injuries.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
