Dalton, GA (September 11, 2019) – Whitfield County Police were called to the scene of a motorcycle accident that took place on Walnut Street this morning around 10 a.m.
The crash took place in Dalton between a motor vehicle and a motorcyclist. The accident completely closed down the road near the area of Harris Street.
Police did not comment on the circumstances leading to the accident but they have said that the motorcyclist was thrown from their motorcycle. It is possible that a coroner was called to the scene but this has not been confirmed at this time. The damages were serious.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
