Duluth, GA (September 16, 2019) – Police in Dekalb County responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that blocked the right lane of I-85 in Duluth.
According to police, the accident took place in the southbound lanes around the area of North Druid Hills Road. Delays went on for several hours after the crash took place around 6:30 a.m. this morning.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the accident but have said that three or more vehicles collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known. Emergency vehicles could be seen in the area.
Paramedics responded to the crash but police did not comment on the extent of the injuries to those involved in the accident. The investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time.
