Griffin, GA (September 27, 2019) – Around 9 p.m. on Monday night, police responded to the scene of a one-vehicle car crash at the 19/41 Bypass that injured one party.
The accident, according to police, tied up traffic in the area and blocked the bypass. A medical helicopter was called to the scene of the crash due to severe injuries in one of the individuals involved.
Various responders assisted at the scene of the collision including the Griffin Police Department, patrol units, and various traffic investigators. The crash took place in an area behind the Southern Crescent Technical College.
One person, who is thought to have been a passenger in the vehicle, was transported with serious injuries to the Atlanta Medical Center. Their condition is not known at this time.
