Loganville, GA (September 20, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident at the intersection of Ozora Road and Chandler Road in Loganville around 9:45 p.m. last night.
When officers in Gwinnett County arrived at the scene of the accident, they found that a 35-year-old man had been driving through the intersection when his motorcycle started to slide. The driver of a 2008 Orange Element started approaching the area. That’s when the vehicles collided, causing the Harley Davidson motorcycle to drop onto its side.
Police claim that the fallen motorcycle hit the side of a black Toyota Tundra headed east.
The motorcyclist was quickly transported to the Northside Hospital Gwinnett. While there, he tragically passed away within minutes.
The driver of the Honda has since been identified as a 19-year-old woman and the driver of the truck as a 34-year-old man. They were not injured in the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
