Loganville, GA (September 7, 2019) – A 35-year-old man from Loganville was struck in a serious pedestrian accident on Highway 78 around 10:07 p.m. on September 4. Police claim that he was severely injured due to the crash.
When police and other responders arrived at the scene of the crash, they found the man breathing but unconscious. He was immediately taken to the Gwinnett Medical Center by ambulance.
Police are not sure if the man was in the crosswalk at the time but are speaking with witnesses and gathering evidence. They have not said whether or not the driver who struck the pedestrian will be facing any charges, but they did remain at the scene of the crash.
The investigation into the accident continues at this time.
