Moultrie, GA (September 23, 2019) – Around 4:20 p.m. this afternoon, a fatal two-vehicle crash at the intersection of GA-111 and Bay Rockford Road took three lives.
The Georgia State Patrol immediately responded to the accident in Moultrie, where they found that a green pickup truck and a passenger vehicle collided.
A preliminary investigation found that the truck crossed the middle line and struck the passenger vehicle while it was driving on a curve in the road. A man and woman inside the pickup truck were pronounced dead at the scene but have not yet been identified.
A man in the passenger vehicle also died but had to be extricated from the vehicle. He has not been identified as of yet, either.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
