Rome, GA (September 23, 2019) – Around 4 p.m. this afternoon, Rome Police and other emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a truck accident on US-411.
According to authorities, the accident took place between a semi-trailer truck and a Kia Spectra. Police are not sure of the exact circumstances that caused the two vehicles to collide on the highway, but it led to serious damages to the passenger vehicle.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was taken to the hospital after paramedics arrived and found them with a bloody nose and possible broken ribs. The party is expected to be okay.
At this time, police continue their investigation into the accident.
