Smyrna, GA – Update: Two Identified After Head-on Crash at S Cobb Dr

Smyrna, GA (September 13, 2019) – On Saturday, police responded to the scene of a head-on crash that took place on South Cobb Drive and caused injuries. Now, the injured party has been identified.

The accident involved a little girl and her aunt. According to the child’s mother, the accident took place when two vehicles collided head-on on South Cobb Drive for reasons that are still under investigation.

The little girl was identified as a 9-year-old from New Bern who spent her birthday in the hospital. Her aunt was also injured. When the girl’s mother made it to the scene of the accident, she found her daughter lying on the ground while being assisted by responders.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
