Villa Rica, GA (September 9, 2019) – Early this morning during rush hour, police and other responders assisted at the scene of a rear-end accident involving two vehicles on Highway 78.
The accident, according to responding authorities, took place near the area of the exit for the Stone Mountain Historic District in Villa Rica. The crash happened in the westbound lanes of the highway.
According to Dekalb County authorities, the accident took place when one driver rear-ended the other. The two pulled over as far as they could to remove their vehicles from the roadway, but there were still delays for some time.
Paramedics were called to the scene so that they could assist the parties with injuries. At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
