Wildwood, GA (September 22, 2019) – Around 7 p.m. tonight, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on GA-409, also known as I-24 in Wildwood.
Dade County officials responded to the eastbound lanes of the highway around the area of the state line, where they found that two vehicles had collided forcefully. When they collided, one of the vehicles immediately rolled over.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident but had trouble accessing the area due to the fact that they were stuck in traffic, as individuals were driving up the emergency lane.
Paramedics were called to the scene to assist one or more parties who were injured in the rolled vehicle.
Police did not comment on the circumstances leading up to the collision but they have confirmed that they are still investigating at this time.
