Atlanta, GA (September 20, 2019) – This morning, a fatal multi-vehicle accident took place when one vehicle spun out due to debris on GA-402. Police are still working on their investigation.
The accident, according to Cobb County Police, blocked the eastbound lanes for several hours this morning. Police obtained dashcam footage that showed a white car striking a gray car at a high rate of speed, which caused the gray car to spin out in traffic. It then crashed into a wall in the center of the roadway.
Police and other first responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 11 a.m. this morning. They have said that paramedics showed up and checked out several individuals, but one party was killed at the scene of the crash.
Unfortunately, no other information is known about the crash or the party whose life was taken. Their investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
