Atlanta, GA (September 13, 2019) – This afternoon, police and other responders were dispatched to the scene of a tractor-trailer accident on I-285 in Atlanta.
The accident, according to authorities, took place near the right shoulder and led to severe damages in multiple vehicles. According to photographs taken at the scene of the accident, it is possible that the accident involved an SUV. The tractor-trailer had severe front-end damage.
According to authorities, the accident led to massive delays in the area and only a right lane was open in each direction due to the crash. This led to delays so severe that motorists were urged to use I-20.
Paramedics were present at the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries, though we do not know the party’s conditions at this time.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
