Atlanta, GA (September 13, 2019) – Around 3 a.m. this morning, police and other emergency services responded to the scene of a car crash on Interstate 85.
According to authorities, the accident took place in the northbound lanes and blocked two left lanes on the highway. The crash took place when multiple vehicles collided for reasons that are not yet known.
The accident, according to police, caused a variety of delays leaving I-285 this morning before rush hour. Police are not sure of the conditions of those involved but have said that the crash involved injuries. Paramedics were present at the scene.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
