Lithia Springs, GA (September 18, 2019) – On Tuesday morning, September 17, a four-car accident with injuries took place on Thornton Road in Lithia Springs.
The accident closed down all lanes of northbound Thornton Road. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office worked to clear the scene, which led to severe damages to the vehicles involved.
According to authorities, two people were hospitalized due to their injuries. Two others were treated at the scene of the crash by EMS. Unfortunately, we do not have an update on their conditions at this time.
The investigation into the actual circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
