Lizella, GA (September 10, 2019) – Around 11 a.m. yesterday morning, September 9, police responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident that took place at a local intersection.
The accident allegedly took place at the intersection of Holley Road and South Lizella Road. At the time, a 26-year-old man was allegedly traveling west on Holley Road on his Kawasaki motorcycle. He suddenly collided with a 2005 Nissan being driven by a 35-year-old woman from Knoxville. She had been making a left turn at the time.
The 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The woman and her husband in the passenger vehicle were not injured in the accident.
Police claim that the accident remains under investigation at this time.
