Lizella, GA (September 11, 2019) – Police confirmed that a man died the day after he was involved in a serious motorcycle crash on South Lizella Road in Lizella.
Police claim that, on Monday around 1:30 p.m., the 26-year-old man was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center with a severe head injury after a motorcycle accident that took place on 3000 South Lizella Road.
Lewis had been riding his Kawasaki motorcycle around 11 a.m. on Monday headed westbound. At that time, a 2005 Maxima turned onto Holley Road from S Lizella, which caused the two to collide in the intersection.
The other driver and their passenger were not injured.
At this time, the sheriff’s office is investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.
