Moultrie, GA (September 24, 2019) – Worth County Police responded to the scene of a three-vehicle accident around 4 p.m. yesterday, September 23. The accident led to serious injuries.
According to police, the accident involved an 18-wheeler, box truck, and a pickup truck. The Georgia State Patrol and various other responders assisted at the scene.
Police have not yet dictated the circumstances that led to the accident. However, they said that one person in the pickup truck was badly injured and was airlifted by medical helicopter to a hospital in Tallahassee, Florida for treatment.
GSP troopers were on the scene for several hours following the collision until the scene was cleared. At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
