Thomson, GA – Two Teens Killed in Fatal Crash on GA-17

Thomson, GA (September 26, 2019) – Two were critically injured and two were killed in a fatal crash that took place on GA-17, also known as the Thomson Bypass, in Thomson.

The accident took place early in the morning, according to authorities. The Georgia State Patrol determined that the driver of the family’s vehicle was traveling north on the highway when they made a turn at the intersection of White Oak Lane and were struck by a tractor-trailer.

The two who lost their lives were identified as brother and sister, a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old. Their 16-year-old brother and mother were left in critical condition at a local hospital.

Police claim that the two teens were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
