Junction City, GA (September 26, 2019) – The Georgia Department of Transportation has been investigating a fatal head-on collision on GA-208 in Junction City.
The crash, according to authorities, took place this morning. One person lost their life in the horrific collision involving a passenger vehicle and a truck.
Police are not sure of the exact circumstances of the accident but have said that the crash involved an 18-wheeler and a Toyota Tacoma. The crash took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway and closed all lanes of traffic in the area for some time.
The identity of the person whose life was lost was not released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
