Tucker, GA (September 25, 2019) – Around 3 a.m. this morning, police responded to a car accident that took place near a major highway in Tucker and led to injuries.
According to photographs, it appeared that a driver was turning from Mountain Industrial Boulevard onto the ramp leading to Highway 78 when they collided with another vehicle. Police have not yet determined the exact circumstances or who is at fault.
The two vehicles were stopped near the crossing with serious damages and were not immediately moved from the roadway. This caused one right lane to be blocked, leading to nighttime delays in the area.
According to authorities, one or more parties received injuries in the accident. Unfortunately, we do not know the extent of those injuries at this time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing at this time.
